Optional Metered Electric Hook-Ups at Findhorn Bay Holiday Park: How to Use the Metpow App
With our optional metered electric hook-ups, you can choose whether you need electricity for your visit and manage your usage through the Metpow app. Whether you’re touring in a motorhome, caravan or campervan, this gives you more flexibility when planning your stay on Scotland’s beautiful Moray coast.
What is optional metered electric?
Optional electric means you can choose whether to use an electric hook-up rather than automatically paying for electricity as part of your pitch.
This gives you greater flexibility. If you’re happy relying on your own power supply, you can enjoy your stay without opting for an electric hook-up. If you would prefer access to electricity, you can use the Metpow app to get started.
How to get started with the Metpow app
Using the Metpow app is designed to make managing your electric hook-up simple.
1. Download the Metpow app
Before using your electric hook-up, download the Metpow app to your smartphone and follow the instructions to set up your account.
2. Find your pitch or charging point
Once you’re settled on your pitch, follow the instructions provided at the park to identify the correct electric hook-up point associated with your pitch.
Always make sure you select the correct point before proceeding.
3. Activate your electricity
Use the Metpow app to follow the on-screen instructions and activate your electric supply. The app will guide you through the process required to get connected.
4. Enjoy your stay
Once your supply is active, you can use electricity during your stay in accordance with the park’s electrical safety rules and the terms displayed in the app.
Remember to keep an eye on your usage and any applicable charges shown in the app.
5. Finish when you’re ready to leave
When you no longer need your electric supply, follow the app’s instructions to stop your session, if required, and disconnect your equipment safely before departure.
