Many artists are living in the Findhorn Community and surrounding area. You can see exhibitions in the Moray Art Centre which is well worth a visit. It is situated just a few minutes away from our reception. They run regular shows for local artists.

Weekly pottery classes
Classes can only be booked as a block of 5 two hour sessions, with a maximum of 6 people per class.
I teach simple hand building techniques that have been used for millennia by potters all over the world. These techniques are easy but not simple (please note: no throwing on the potters wheel). Clay has a slow rhythm, and going with this rhythm will hopefully enable you to make something that you are chuffed with or at least enjoy the calming effect that playing with clay has on many people.

Other Activities
One of the oldest studies in the Findhorn Community is the Findhorn Pottery. The crockery in our Eco-Chalet’s is from Findhorn Pottery, and we encourage our guests to visit their beautiful studios.
Visit Findhorn website Arts and Crafts section have a full listing of local art studios and artists.
Some of the Findhorn Community buildings are a form of art themselves. The Universal Hall entrance doors are certainly an unusual design not forgetting the unique architecture of that very building.
The Universal Hall is also a popular venue offering a wide variety of performances from movies to Ceilidh dance evenings.
